Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox had studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She lived off of an allowance for students and went in part-time jobs to increase her budget. Lennox made the decision to alter her path in life following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in contrast to the other Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, as a member of the group called Dragons Playground. But she quit when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she was main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop group. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox began working on her solo first album Diva which came out in 1992. The album was hugely successful both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The collection comprising four tracks that were improvised. This E.P. is a companion piece of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now, I'll let You go... It's also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and musician and singer. Following a modest successes as a part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva featured a number of hit songs like Why, the World is Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album that features covers of songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her credits include six studio albums solo as well as a compilation. |
