Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town in South Africa on 2 December 1981. She is a model and actress best known for appearing in TV and in films. Having started her acting career by appearing on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her first role as Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared in numerous TV series during the past 10 years. This includes Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen the character of Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised within Cape Town South Africa. After her late teens, she emigrated together with family members to Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's profession began as a model when she appeared in commercials on television and magazine ads. Before her rise to fame as a model she worked in the field of retail sales as well as being an information technology recruitment consultant. The role she played was Leilani who was a native of New Zealand in the comedy Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. in 2021, her first major role came as Naevia the slave in the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand. In the mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena She reprised her role Naevia. Craig Parker starred alongside her in three TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). Her first role was Mazikeen as a demon who hunts for bounty in Netflix's hit show Lucifer. She has played her the most significant role to the present. On the show she co-stars with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
